Clannad Live At Christ Church Cathedral on TV March 2012

The one hour TV special of the concert recorded in Dublin’s Christ Church Cathedral will be aired on public television stations (PBS) across the USA throughout March.

Clannad have given a unique voice to modern Irish music. They have combined a deep love of traditional strains with a bold approach to writing and recording. Their legacy is a hugely impressive collection of albums, touching on folk, rock, ambient, jazz and world music. Many of these records have featured lyrics in their native Gaelic tongue, while others have been performed in English. Either way, those vocals have plugged directly into the popular imagination.

Maire (Moya) Brennan of Clannad will be performing along with Cormac Debarra in Lancaster MA. on March 11th at 2 pm to promote their new album Voices & Harps.

Keep an eye on your local listings for dates and times in your area. If the show isn’t currently scheduled, please call your local station and request that they air it.

The show will include an exclusive advance offer for the DVD and CD of the Christ Church Cathedral concert and will also offer the chance to purchase an exclusive 3CD Collection.

Songs featured in the TV show include Harry’s Game, Newgrange, In A Lifetime, I Will Find You and Dulaman.

Special featured guests are Brian Kennedy and ANÚNA.
